The Bears Are A Finalist For Austin Hooper, But The Packers Get Him
This one is going to hurt for Chicago. They have a need at tight end and they have been reported to have interest in signing Austin Hooper.
Chicago will put on a full-court press to sign him this offseason. Hooper will like what he hears from the Bears, but he will not end up signing with them. Instead, he will sign with their NFC North arch-rival Green Bay Packers.
Losing out on Hooper just to have the Packers get him would be rough. Unfortunately, the Bears don’t have Aaron Rodgers throwing the ball and that will be the difference.
