Chicago Ends Up Signing Marcus Mariota
Matt Nagy and company know that they need to bring in some quarterback competition this offseason. Rumors have been swirling that the Bears could look to acquire Andy Dalton in a trade with the Cincinnati Bengals. When everything is said and done, they will end up signing Marcus Mariota.
At just 26 years old, Mariota can not only push Trubisky for the starting job this year, he could conceivably be the long-term option for Chicago. Mariota would be worth a one or two-year deal to see how he fits.
Last season with the Titans in just seven games, Mariota completed 59.4 percent of his pass attempts for 1,203 yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions. He also picked up 129 yards on the ground. The Bears are going to give Mariota a chance.
