2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made the biggest splashes and look to make the most improvement in 2020. Adding Tom Brady will always be seen as a stellar move and bringing his trusted tight end, Rob Gronkowski out of retirement should have fans drooling.
Add these two players to a receiving group that already included Mike Evans and Chris Goodwin and you know this team is going to score points each week.
The biggest area of concern for the Buccaneers is a fairly suspect secondary that has to play with some high-flying offenses. In a division where you have to play Matt Ryan and Drew Brees twice each season, having a strong secondary is the difference between a win and a loss. Tampa Bay just doesn’t have the defense that the Saints do, which will end up costing them in the long run.
The other big concern has to be the health and abilities of Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady. Both have played a lot of football and have taken a beating over the years.
“Father Time” will eventually have to catch up with Brady and when it does, there may be a steep decline. Gronkowski just came out of retirement and shaking of the dust might be harder for the veteran. If either of these guys gets hurt that is a lot of star power that will be sitting on the bench in Tampa Bay.
