4th Place: Carolina Panthers, 5-11

While the Panthers are going to be a much more entertaining football team to watch in 2020 than they have been recently, they have too many holes to seriously compete with the other teams in the NFC South.

Matt Rhule is a first-year head coach that will bring an intriguing offensive mind to Carolina. The Panthers also moved on from longtime star quarterback Cam Newton to sign Teddy Bridgewater in free agency. Robby Anderson is another intriguing offseason addition.

Unfortunately, the Panthers ended up losing Luke Kuechly to retirement. Greg Olsen also parted ways with the franchise after a successful career with Carolina.

It’s impossible to put them over any of the other teams in the NFC South at this point in time. A 5-11 record may not end up being the case, the Panthers come in fourth in the division at this point in time.
