Predicting the stats for Seahawks WR DK Metcalf in 2021

The Seattle Seahawks have been one of the top contenders in the NFC over the last couple of years, thanks in large part to their high-powered offense. With Russell Wilson being an MVP contender nearly every year and big weapons in DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, opposing defenses have a very tough time hanging with them. Looking ahead to the upcoming 2021 NFL season, the Seahawks are going to need their offense to produce at a high level again.

Metcalf has become one of the top wide receivers in the league and has made quite a few teams feel foolish for allowing him to get to the No. 64 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Last season with the Seahawks, Metcalf put up a massive season. He caught 83 passes for 1,303 yards and 10 touchdowns. This season, he is targeting an even bigger year.

It will be interesting to see what kind of numbers Metcalf is able to put up this season. Seattle did bring in D’Wayne Eskridge in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft to add more playmaking ability at wide receiver. That addition should not impact the production that Metcalf is able to put up at all.

ESPN has released their projections for the numbers that DK Metcalf will put up in 2021. They have predicted that he will catch 84 passes for 1,268 yards and 10 touchdowns. Those predictions would be yet another big-time year and a very successful campaign for Metcalf.

We have our own predictions for Metcalf’s upcoming season as well. In our predictions, we have Metcalf catching 87 passes for 1,300 yards and 11 touchdowns. Those predictions are very similar, but either way the Seahawks are going to love what they see from their third-year wideout.

Throughout his first two NFL seasons, the Seahawks have seen Metcalf go from a prospect who many had major questions about due to his route-running ability to a legitimate budding superstar. The sky is the limit for him moving forward. His physical ability is impressive, to say the least, and his work ethic is unquestionable.

Expect to see the Seahawks receive another massive season from DK Metcalf. He will be a Fantasy Football superstar and will lead Seattle once again as their top wide receiver.
