New England Patriots

It’s safe to say the New England Patriots will be entering a new era during the 2020 season. Now with Cam Newton under center instead of long-time starter Tom Brady, the team will need to make adjustments in its offensive system. That will surely feature more reliance on the run.

There are still questions the Patriots face about the receiving corps they will field in 2020. Julian Edelman will surely still set to the tone for the group overall but he’s getting older. Meanwhile, Mohamed Sanu and N’Keal Harry will need to stay healthy and they each struggled with injuries last season.

When considering both factors, ensuring there is a lot of talent in the backfield to help shoulder the load would be ideal for the Patriots. A talent like Raheem Mostert would be particularly intriguing when paired with a mobile quarterback like Newton.
