Raiders: 3 bold predictions for Week 2 against the Saints

Raiders, Saints
NFL Analysis Network

With the 2020 NFL season moving forward to Week 2, the Las Vegas Raiders are looking to improve to 2-0. After beating the Carolina Panthers last week in a shootout, the Raiders are facing an even bigger challenge. On Monday Night Football this week, Las Vegas will take on Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.

Jon Gruden has to love the roster that he has been given this season. Derek Carr may have some questions that he needs to answer, but he has some great weapons in Henry Ruggs III, Hunter Renfrow, and Darren Waller. Josh Jacobs is also taking the step into being an elite NFL running back.

Beating the Panthers is a good way to start the season, but Week 2 will be a major test. The Raiders are going to find out exactly what kind of football team they really are.

Granted, New Orleans star wide receiver Michael Thomas won’t be playing due to an ankle sprain. However, the Raiders will still have to figure out a way to slow down Brees and star running back Alvin Kamara.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three bold predictions for the Raiders this week as they take on the Saints.
