Raiders: 5 early predictions for Las Vegas in 2020

The last few seasons have been a bit of a disappointment for the then Oakland Raiders as they’ve missed the playoffs in three consecutive seasons. Now in Las Vegas, they will seek to turn things around during the 2020 season.

Last season, the Raiders posted a 7-9 record and finished behind the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos in the AFC West. They displayed plenty of needs that needed to be addressed.

In an effort to improve, the Raiders had an active offseason and managed to add plenty of talent well before the 2020 NFL Draft. The selection of Henry Ruggs III may have caught the most attention but their offseason went well beyond just that.

There was a clear emphasis on improving the defense as they signed six free agents on this side of the ball. It was much-needed considering this is an area that has been a liability in recent seasons.

With that being said, here are five early predictions for the Las Vegas Raiders heading into the 2020 season.
