What a roller-coaster of a season it has been thus far for the Las Vegas Raiders. Coming into the season, they were being viewed as a potential dark-horse Super Bowl contender. After a brutal start to the year, they were completely written off as a bust of a team.

Despite the early-season struggles, the Raiders are seemingly figuring things out. Following their huge Week 12 win over the Seattle Seahawks, the Raiders are 4-7 and are working their way back into the playoff hunt.

During their huge win over the Seahawks, the Raiders accomplished something that only one other team has done since the 1990 season. They ended up passing for 275 or more yards and rushing for the same. CBS Sports was the outlet to point out the impressive feat.

Needless to say, that kind of feat is not easy to accomplish. The Raiders showcased the high-powered offense that everyone expected when they traded for superstar wide receiver Davante Adams. Add in the fact that Josh Jacobs has become one of the most dangerous running backs in the NFL and the sky is the limit for the Raiders.

Speaking of Jacobs, he put together one of the best running back performances that we have seen in recent years. He carried the football 33 times for 229 yards and two touchdowns. Jacob also caught six passes for 74 yards and ended the game in overtime with a crazy 86-yard touchdown run.

Looking ahead at the rest of the season for the Raiders, the playoffs are still very much a possibility. Teams at the bottom of the AFC playoff picture are nothing to count on at this point in time.

Granted, it’s still going to be an uphill battle for the Raiders. But, there is hope and they should be proud of the hard work they have put in to get back on track. At the very least, this is an impressive milestone to have hit.
