The first round of the 2022 NFL Draft has come and gone and there was a ton of action and movement throughout the process. However, a lot of movement happened before the draft as well, including the Las Vegas Raiders pulling off a huge trade sending the No. 22 pick and a second-round pick to the Green Bay Packers for superstar wide receiver Davante Adams.

While most Packers’ fans thought their team would add a weapon for Aaron Rodgers in the first round of the draft, that didn’t happen. Not only did they not grab a wideout, but the Raiders hilariously trolled Green Bay after the No. 22 pick was made.

Following the Packers’ selection of Georgia linebacker Quay Walker with the No. 22 pick, the Raiders took to Twitter to thank Green Bay for the trade the two teams made.

Obviously, the Raiders weren’t trolling the player that the Packers picked at No. 22 in the NFL Draft. But, it was at a time that Las Vegas’ Twitter account knew that the Green Bay fan base was panicking.

At this point in time, the Raiders are clear winners of the trade. Green Bay still has a second-round pick to use from the trade, but not getting an impact wideout in the first round was a huge loss. The Packers need to be panicking right now to find more talent to place around Rodgers.

If the season were to start today, the Packers would be extremely thin at wide receiver. They currently have four players to note at the position, including Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, Sammy Watkins, and Amari Rodgers. None of those guys are remotely capable of being a No. 1 weapon.

As for the Raiders, they are sitting pretty with Adams as their top target for Derek Carr. While this may have gone unnoticed by most, Las Vegas’ social media team deserves a major round of applause for the troll job.
