Rams: 3 reasons why it isn’t time to worry about Jared Goff

Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

2. Goff led the Rams to a Super Bowl at 24-years-old

The moment that Goff entered the NFL, he was 22-years-old and had lots to learn in the league. Again, prior to 2019, Goff made strides in his game each and every season.

At just 24-years-old, Goff was able to lead the Rams to a Super Bowl in 2018. Even though he lost the game, it’s a learning experience that will forever be engraved in his mind.

Upon making the Super Bowl, Goff was the fourth-youngest quarterback to start in a Super Bowl. The quarterbacks that were younger than Goff were Ben Roethlisberger, Dan Marino, and David Woodley.

Among that group, only Roethlisberger was able to secure a victory in the Super Bowl. That goes to show that Goff isn’t the only one to fail at a young age.

Heading into next season, Goff will still only be 25-years-old. Given that, there’s still plenty of room for improvement, which should excite fans in Los Angeles.
