There is no one that would argue that the Los Angeles Rams didn’t take a huge step backwards last season. The Rams won the NFC West in both the 2017 and 2018 seasons, and failed to even make the playoffs in 2019, falling from a 13-3 record in 2018 to a mediocre 9-7 record in 2019.

The Rams have talent throughout the roster, but couldn’t seem to get into a rhythm last season, and that is the main reason why the team failed to clinch of a playoff berth.

It should also be noted that their quarterback Jared Goff struggled mightily as his usually top tier running back Todd Gurley failed to come close to impressive running statistics just a season prior.

With the type of explosive and talented players the Rams have, it’s reasonable to assume that they can find their way back to the playoffs and potentially the Super Bowl. However, how they get there will be an interesting storyline to watch for throughout the 2020 NFL season.

With that, let’s take a look at three reasons the Rams will make the playoffs during the 2020 season.
