4. Aaron Donald looks human

Aaron Donald has been in the league for six years. He has been to the Pro Bowl six times and named First Team All-Pro five times. Donald has 72 career sacks and led the league with 20.5 in 2018. He is a complete freak of nature who many consider to be the best overall player in the NFL.

In 2020, is there any chance Donald can be held to single-digit sacks? This is something that has happened twice in his career. Donald is without a doubt the top defensive lineman in the league. He might even be the best defensive player, but he cannot do it all by himself.

For Donald to get to the quarterback, he will need other members of the defensive line to step up. He is not a secret anymore. Offensive coordinators know that they need to keep Donald far away from their quarterback. He is the main game plan for opposing teams. Without much help, opposing teams can throw double or even triple teams at Donald and not miss a beat.

This is not to say that Michael Brockers cannot have a big year to provide help or that Donald is going to take a step back. He is still one of the fiercest players in the NFL, but when facing a triple team, he is going to be contained. Donald’s lowest sack total came in 2016 when he finished with eight.
