Slow Down Chiefs Rushing Attack
One glaring issue on the Rams defense is their ability (or lack thereof) to stop the run. Teams are starting to take advantage of it, even though the Rams are still finding ways to win.
Against a team like the Chiefs though, a dominant rushing attack could spell defeat for the Rams. The Chiefs have a phenomenal running back in Kareem Hunt.
They love to utilize him in many ways, with him toting the rock or catching it out of the backfield. He’s used the same as Gurley is for the Rams.
This season, Hunt has 754 rushing yards (4th in NFL) and seven rushing touchdowns (5th in NFL). He is a hard player to defend, as he is a very dynamic player in all facets of the game.

Just last week, this Rams team allowed 273 rushing yards to the Seahawks. Luckily they won the game, but the Seahawks aren’t the Chiefs.
The Chiefs also like to throw more than the Seahawks, which could help or hurt the Rams in the long run. Mahomes has also shown he isn’t shy about running the ball, scoring two rushing touchdowns.
The Rams must be focused on stopping the Chiefs lethal rushing attack if they hope to remain in the game. If the Chiefs rush for 273 yards as the Seahawks did, it’s hard to see the Rams coming out on top in this one.
