Jamaal Williams, Running Back
Secondly, the Packers saw Aaron Jones come into his own as the starting running back and turn into a rising star. However, his backup, Jamaal Williams, also showed off big-time potential for Green Bay.
Williams carried the football 107 times for 460 yards and a touchdown, averaging 4.3 yards per carry. He also made a big impact as a receiver out of the backfield, racking up 39 receptions for 253 yards and five touchdowns.
Obviously, Williams is never going to surpass Jones for the starting job. But he can be the type of playmaker that Aaron Rodgers needs to take pressure off of his arm. Green Bay is set at running back for the time being with these two and a starting role somewhere could be in the cards for Williams in the future.
