Kansas City Chiefs Running Back, Clyde Edwards-Helaire
With the final pick of the first round, Andy Reid got his hands on arguably the best dual threat running back in the entire draft with LSU’s back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
Reid compared the rookie back to one of former Pro Bowl backs from his time as the Eagles head coach, Brian Westbrook. Westbrook was utlized heavily in the screen game in Philly and was a staple of Reid’s west coast system.
Edwards-Helaire has the potential to fill that same type of role with the Chiefs in 2020. In his final college season, the LSU back totaled 55 receptions, 453 yards and one touchdown through the air.
Edwards-Helaire could end up being the feature back for Kansas City at season’s end, so expect him to have a nice fantasy impact in 2020.
