Ranking the top 3 free agency targets for the Cleveland Browns

Jack Conklin

Entering the 2019 season, the Browns chose to go with Greg Robinson and Chris Hubbard at their offensive tackle positions. It’s safe to say that Cleveland will be looking to replace both of them this offseason.

Over the course of the 2019 campaign, Robinson and Hubbard allowed a combined 10 sacks. After a dismal showing this past season, Robinson is set to become a free agent. As for Hubbard, there’s no doubt that his starting job is in doubt next season.

In the event that the Browns target Hubbard’s replacement in free agency, Jack Conklin would be an ideal choice. Since 2016, Conklin has been manning the right tackle position for the Tennessee Titans.

Aside from missing seven games in 2018, Conklin has started in every game in his career. As a rookie in 2016, Conklin was named an All-Pro, forming a formidable duo with Taylor Lewan. Most importantly, for the Browns, he’s an obvious upgrade from Hubbard and turns just 26-years-old in 2020.
