3. Vic Beasley Jr., EDGE, Atlanta Falcons
One of the main areas of need that the Redskins need to focus on this offseason is edge rusher. Ron Rivera has always been a defensive head coach and he will want to bring in more talent that can get to opposing quarterbacks.
Vic Beasley Jr. is set to hit free agency and the Falcons have already stated that they won’t be re-signing him. That could give the Redskins an opportunity to swoop in and steal him. Last season with Atlanta, Beasley racked up 42 tackles, eight sacks, two forced fumbles, and two defended passes.
Washington would be a great landing spot for Beasley. He is 27 years old and could fit in long-term with the new re-tooling process. Playing for a coach like Rivera would do him wonders as well.
