2. Ronald Darby, Cornerback, Philadelphia Eagles
Another perfect fit for the Redskins that will be hitting the open market this offseason is Eagles’ cornerback Ronald Darby. Washington will be looking to beef up their secondary and the departure of veteran Josh Norman could open a starting role for a guy like Darby.
The 26-year-old cornerback had a solid 2019 season with the Eagles. He recorded 37 total tackles to go along with two interceptions, and 11 defended passes in just 11 games played. Those numbers alone show why he would be a perfect target for the Redskins.
Darby is going to intrigue quite a few teams this offseason. Washington will need to be aggressive in their pursuit of him and they should do everything in their power to bring him in.
