3. Indianapolis Colts
It was a busy offseason for the Indianapolis Colts with the signing of Philip Rivers catching the most attention. Operating under a short window to contend for a Super Bowl with their new starting quarterback, they should look to make another splash.
The current expectation is that Al-Quadin Muhammed and Kemoko Turay will compete for the starting defensive end spot opposite of Justin Houston. By adding Jadeveon Clowney into the mix along with DeForest Buckner on the defensive line, the Colts’ defense would be all the more intriguing.
Playing alongside talented defensive standouts would take pressure off Clowney, enabling him to maximize his volume production in a contract-year. Meanwhile, the Colts would land a strong edge player without having to sacrifice draft capital or make a long-term commitment.
