2. Philadelphia Eagles
When considering the emphasis on playing for a winning team, the Philadelphia Eagles make plenty of sense as a realistic landing spot for Jadeveon Clowney. That’s the case even despite the bad blood that may exist between him and the team’s fan base.
It won’t be easy to win the NFC East again in 2020, but adding Clowney in the mix would certainly help the Eagles’ efforts. Philadelphia would be able to feature the former No. 1 overall pick alongside talents like Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, and Brandon Graham.
A key factor for Clowney will be his perception of the Eagles’ potential of being a Super Bowl contender. Being capable of winning a division is one thing, it’s important he believes they have a genuine outlook to make it deep in the playoffs in 2020.
