Ravens: 3 early expectations for Baltimore rookie LB Patrick Queen in 2020

The Baltimore Ravens are a team full of great players. However, the Ravens have yet to find a replacement for Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis. While CJ Mosley had a lot of promise, he left in free agency last offseason. Patrick Onwuasor and LJ Fort were solid last season, however, they lacked big play-ability. However, the Ravens may have found a star middle linebacker in Patrick Queen.

GM Eric DeCosta and owner Steve Bisciotti have done an excellent job bringing talent to Baltimore. While the offense will surely be spectacular, the defense will be much better than last season. Baltimore is looking to make a Super Bowl Run. However, with the talent they have they may be working towards building a dynasty.

While the Ravens’ success meant the team had a late-round pick, Baltimore did a great job drafting. Baltimore did a good job drafting the best players available, while still addressing needs. It was a very impressive draft for a team with not much to work with.

The Ravens kept true to their identity on both sides of the ball. They even managed to snag one of the top defensive prospects in the draft. Patrick Queen is someone who could be the face of this defense.

While playing the transition from college to pro’s is tough on any rookie, middle linebacker is the toughest for any defender. Queen may have some struggles, however, it is important for him to learn from those mistakes. No one is asking him to be Ray Lewis in his rookie season.

With that, there are three early expectations for Ravens rookie linebacker Patrick Queen in the 2020 season.
