The Baltimore Ravens have tailored their offensive approach around former MVP Lamar Jackson. Baltimore is annually near the top of the NFL in rushing, but it is time for them to start adding to their receiving group to help Jackson take his game to the next level. Bringing in a star like Allen Robinson would be the perfect move to make.

In 2020, we saw what reshaping a wide receiver room could do for a quarterback. After Josh Allen had some seasons of inconsistencies throwing the ball, the Buffalo Bills added Stefon Diggs to the group on top of Cole Beasley and John Brown. Gabriel Davis also proved to be a good find in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Mark Andrews is among the best tight ends in the game. The Ravens have a burner in Marquise Brown, but he is not a true No. 1 receiver. Willie Snead was second on the team among wide receivers with only 432 yards. Jackson needs a bonafide top wide receiver and Fantasy Pros believes that will happen in the form of Robinson.

Robinson is the exact kind of receiver that would help Jackson elevate his passing game. His track record speaks for itself, as the former Penn State product has three 1,000-plus receiving yard seasons to his credit. When you look at the quarterbacks he has been catching passes from, it makes that feat even more impressive, as Blake Bortles and Mitch Trubisky have been the quarterbacks he has played the most with.

As pointed out by Fantasy Pros, the Bears and Robinson would have an extension in place if they were on the same page. He wants to join a contender and play for a championship ring, but also receive what he believes he is worth. There aren’t many teams that can offer both, as most of the teams flush with cap space wouldn’t be considered contenders at this time.

The closest he would get is the Ravens. They have a strong defense and dominant run game. Adding a weapon of Robinson’s caliber would help take their offense to another level. The organization would also hope his addition would help Jackson similarly to how Allen improved after the additions Buffalo made.

If the Ravens want to go all-in to push for a Super Bowl, going all-out to sign Allen Robinson would be the ideal move to make.
