3 perfect targets for the Redskins’ offense in free agency

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Jack Conklin, Offensive Tackle, Tennessee Titans

Washington needs a lot of help on their offensive line to help protect Dwayne Haskins moving forward. There are a few really good options in free agency this offseason, but one that would make a lot of sense would be Titans’ impending free agent Jack Conklin.

Standing in at 6-foot-6 and 326 pounds, Conklin would be a huge addition to the line. He is coming off of an impressive season with Tennessee and helped lead them all the way to the AFC Championship Game. Washington isn’t quite ready to compete for a Super Bowl, but Conklin would take them one step closer.

At this point in time, his market value has been set at about $15 million per year by Spotrac.com. That contract would be affordable and worth it for a team like the Redskins in desperate need of offensive line talent.

  1. Like the Jack Conklin idea for sure but don’t really like the Henry Hunter idea… To move on from Jordan Reed for another TE that’s always hurt is stupid… I think the team should go with Eric Ebron… And Amari Cooper is too much money for all the holes that need to be filled… Just sign Robby Anderson & call it a day

  2. Those three would be a dream scenario for the skins. If we got a pick or two for Trent Williams and maybe Kerrigan and picked up a late first and a second we could be better than most think next year. Cooper would give us one of the top receiver cores in the league for 4-5 years. We also have minimum spending on our wideouts now so a 20 million cap hit is justified and we should target wideouts more next year due to the lack of tight ends. I would love that signing especially.
