3 perfect targets for the Redskins’ offense in free agency

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Hunter Henry, Tight End, Los Angeles Chargers

Another position of need this offseason for the Redskins will be the tight end position. It’s time to give up hope that Jordan Reed can stay healthy and make an impact. There is one player that would take the Washington offense to the next level at the position.

Hunter Henry is set to hit free agency this offseason and quite a few teams will be pursuing him. He has had some health issues in the past, but he has also shown signs of stardom. In 2019 with the Chargers in 12 games, Henry caught 55 passes for 652 yards and five touchdowns.

Washington needs to add more weapons for Haskins. Henry would provide the rookie quarterback with a big, athletic target, which is the kind of security blanket he needs.
