Washington Redskins: 3 Takeaways from Week 2 loss vs. Colts

After a dominating performance against the lowly Arizona Cardinals in Week 1, the Washington Redskins looked to keep the momentum going into Week 2 but was left with a head-scratching 21-9 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts.

Indianapolis was able to stop Washington’s rushing attack that included running backs Adrian Peterson and Chris Thompson and manhandled their superb offensive line throughout Sunday afternoon.

Even though Washington’s defense made a few key stops, returning quarterback Andrew Luck and Co. were able to score 21 points throughout the four quarters

With this loss, the Redskins fall to a record of 1-1 are in a three-way tie for first place in the NFC East. They look to regroup as they face quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers at home next week.

Here are my three takeaways from Week 2.
