1,600+ yards from scrimmage
Even though he hasn’t had quite the workload of other workhorse running backs, Kamara is still one of the best dual-threat backs in the NFL. Since being drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Kamara has been nothing but productive for the Saints.
As a rookie, Kamara was able to garner 1,554 yards from scrimmage on just 201 touches and he would contribute 13 touchdowns. Then, as an encore, Kamara would record 1,592 scrimmage yards on a career-high 275 touches and 18 touchdowns in 2018.
However, due to injuries in 2019, Kamara finished with a career-low 1,330 yards from scrimmage and six touchdowns. With Kamara healthy again coupled with the fact he’s entering a contract year, the elusive running back could be looking to surpass 1,600 scrimmage yards for the first time in his career with the Saints in 2020.
