Once Kamara joined the Saints in 2017, it was clear that he and Drew Brees were instantly on the same page in the passing game. To put his name on the map as a receiving threat, Kamara would catch 81 passes for 826 yards and five touchdowns in his rookie campaign.

The former third-round pick would repeat his success by hauling in another 81 passes for 709 yards and another four touchdowns in 2018. Even in an injury-riddled season last year, Kamara still managed to notch 81 receptions for 533 yards and one touchdown.

Provided that, it’s fair to question whether or not Kamara is obsessed with the No. 81, as he’s had three consecutive seasons of 81 receptions. Maybe Kamara finally breaks the mold and eclipses 81 receptions for the first time in his career next season.
