Wide Receiver, Dante Pettis
The second-round pick wideout provided some excitement when he came away with a 53-yard catch on a deep pass from CJ Beathard.

It was a bright spot that showed why he was drafted so high and kept him in relevance after the game. It was his only catch of the game and was much needed. In the first half, he dropped a first down catch and had a miscommunication with Beathard on a sideline throw.
Not to mention he was outshined by many of the other receivers that were given playing time with him. Guys like Richie James, Victor Bolden, and Kendrick Bourne were also showing their value as viable options at slot receiver.
If Pettis wants to show why he’s worth that second round pick, then he will need to play better against the Texans secondary this week.
