Seahawks: 3 reasons bringing back Marshawn Lynch makes perfect sense

Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks had a relatively long stretch of success and competitiveness that has spanned over several key players. Russell Wilson leads the team now and is widely considered to be one of the very best players in the entire game.

Before Wilson was the face of the franchise it was led by two of the biggest personalities in the game. Richard Sherman is still performing at a very high level, albeit for San Francisco now. But the player that the Seahawks should try and convince to come back is Marshawn Lynch.

Lynch was considered the best running back when he was in his prime, rushing for over 1,200 yards in four straight seasons with Seattle. He scored at least 11 touchdowns in each of those seasons and was selected to the Pro Bowl in each of those years.

Unfortunately, the careers of running backs are short and 2011-2014 is an eternity away from prime-time Beast Mode.

However, there are a few reasons that the Seahawks should look at bringing him back.
