DK Metcalf is Set for a Major Outing for Seahawks

The Atlanta Falcons were the 11th worst team at giving up pass yards last season and that is something the Seahawks will look to take advantage of in the opening week. The Falcons have added some players that they hope will improve the team, including edge rusher, Dante Fowler Jr. and rookie cornerback, A. J. Terrell.

While these additions will make a difference throughout the season, when teams are still trying to mesh this early in the season, Metcalf will be able to take advantage. Between Lockett and Metcalf there will be plenty of space for Wilson to find his receivers.

The other thing pointing towards Metcalf having a big game is that these offenses look primed to trade punches throughout the game. Atlanta needs to get into a high scoring matchup to be able to pull away and the Seahawks are built to keep up. Both teams have Hall of Fame caliber quarterbacks and a stable of talented play makers that should score plenty. With lots of points scored in this game and Metcalf will be right in the middle of it.

Expect Metcalf to start off this season with a game that puts him on pace for a 1,000+ yard season. Facing a struggling defense and being a part of a high scoring contest create the perfect storm for DK Metcalf.
