Shaquill Griffin, Cornerback
This choice may not surprise many Seattle fans, especially with the departure of Richard Sherman. If the Seahawks want their defense to remain dangerous, they are going to need a big season from Griffin.
Last season as a rookie with the Seahawks, Griffin ended up recording 59 tackles, a sack, an interception, and 15 defended passes.
Those numbers show just a bit of Griffin’s talent. He has more potential to work his way into, especially as a playmaker and cover corner. Seattle will need a new No. 1 cornerback to step up and Griffin is more than ready for that role.
Griffin is going to come out looking to prove that he can be a top cornerback in the NFL. Seattle will give him that chance and he will take advantage of it.
