Steelers 2020 Free Agency Target: EDGE Dante Fowler Jr.

Dante Fowler Jr. is set to hit the open NFL free agency market this offseason. While the Los Angeles Rams could try to bring him back, there are plenty of other teams that could be obvious fits. One of those teams could end up being the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Pittsburgh has a major need for another edge rusher. T.J. Watt is a stud, but they need someone on the opposite side of the line that can put pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

Over the years, the Steelers have always been known for their defense. Unfortunately, the defense has fallen off in recent years. Pittsburgh needs to be willing to open the checkbook a bit in order to get back to the top of the league on the defensive side of the ball.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at why Fowler could be a great fit for the Steelers this offseason in free agency.
