Devin Bush

The Steelers got exactly what they wanted out of Devin Bush this past season.

The No. 10 overall pick out of Michigan led the Steelers in tackles with 109 total sacks, and added two interceptions and four fumble recoveries as well. While Nick Bosa ran away with the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award, Bush received two votes for the DROY and deservedly so.

Now that he’s proven he can play in the bright lights, he needs to next another step forward in 2020. At times, Bush looked lost in coverages and got exposed for it. But he also made highlight reel plays and his athleticism opened the Steelers defense up a bit more than before.

The Steelers’ defense is the main reason why they were one game away of making the playoffs in 2019. Now with Big Ben back, the offense will look to get back into shape and contend in the AFC. The Steelers are going to need the defense to repeat its success and Bush will be a key cog in that machine.
