As the Pittsburgh Steelers gear up for their Wild Card matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, Ben Roethlisberger is preparing for what could very well be his last NFL game. If the Steelers are unable to upset the Chiefs, he has stated that he will likely retire. However, he could still have some magic up his sleeve before he calls it a career.

Roethlisberger has been dominant for years and has led the Steelers to a ton of success. Knocking off the Chiefs in the Wild Card would be one of his biggest wins yet.

Prior to the Steelers’ Wild Card matchup with the Chiefs, Roethlisberger dropped the most perfect quote that anyone could have asked him to speak.

“We’re probably 20 point underdogs. We don’t have a chance. So let’s just go in and have fun.”

Those are the exact words that an underdog needs to embrace. No one is giving the Steelers a second thought or a chance this week. They are the only ones that believe in themselves.

Going out and having fun could easily translate into a massive victory. There is absolutely no pressure on the Steelers in this game, while the Chiefs are expected to win and would be shunned if they don’t. Pittsburgh needs to embrace the underdog mentality and just enjoy playing playoff football.

If this is Big Ben’s final season in the NFL, he will go out with a solid all-around year. He completed 64.5 percent of his pass attempts for 3,740 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Most importantly, he got his team into the postseason against all odds.

No matter what ends up happening this weekend, Ben Roethlisberger will go out with respect. He has put everything he has into the game and that translated into an amazing career. Going out with one more huge upset over the Chiefs this weekend wouldn’t be a bad way to go though.
