4. Jeff Wilson

The Miami Dolphins are behind the eight-ball heading into their matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Super Wild Card Weekend. Starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is not going to be playing as he remains in concussion protocol. Rookie Skylar Thompson is being prepped as the starter once again.

Miami’s offense has not been good with anyone other than Tagovailoa at the helm. To take pressure off the rookie against a stout Bills defense, the team is going to need Jeff Wilson to have a good game. Wilson could receive a large bulk of the carries with Raheem Mostert dealing with a broken thumb.

If the Dolphins want to have any hope of winning this game, they will need to run the ball and control tempo and clock. Keeping the Bills’ offense off the field as much as possible should be their goal, making Wilson integral to the game plan.

3. Kirk Cousins

The Minnesota Vikings are hosting the New York Giants in a rematch from Christmas Eve in Week 16. The Vikings won a 61-yard field goal by Greg Joseph at the buzzer, giving them a 27-24 victory.

If they want to replicate that outcome, they will need Kirk Cousins to play at a high level. Against a Giants team no one expected to be here that is playing with house money, Minnesota needs to play a clean game, led by Cousins.

In the first meeting, Cousins was excellent, completing 70.8 percent of his passes for 299 yards and three touchdowns. Unfortunately for the Vikings, this game isn’t at 1 pm ET, which is when Cousins thrives.
