Fitzpatrick Has Earned More of a Shot

In addition to his leadership, Fitzpatrick has proven that he deserves more of a shot to start this season. He has come into a rough situation and given the Buccaneers hope for the first time in a long time.

Not only has he played well, he has been one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL this season. The ability that he has shown and the numbers he has put up are without question worthy of more time as the starter. Winston is talented, but he made his bed and he will have to lie in it.

Fitzpatrick has always shown the ability to stay ready and play well when his number is called. Tampa Bay has seen this before, although maybe not quite at this level. Moving on from Fitzpatrick after these performances should not be in the cards just yet.
