Terrelle Pryor: 5 teams who should consider giving the WR a chance

The bulk of the talent that was available in NFL free agency to start the offseason has been long off the market after signing with teams. There are still some intriguing low-risk, high-reward players still available, including wide receiver Terrelle Pryor.

The best season of Pryor’s career came in 2016 as the leading receiver for the Cleveland Browns. During that year, he appeared in 16 games and recorded 140 targets, 77 receptions, 1,007 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns.

It has been a struggle for Pryor to get back on track since electing to depart from the Browns following his career-year. He ended up signing with the Washington NFL franchise on a one-year deal and that relationship didn’t last.

The last season Pryor played was in 2018, which featured short stints with the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets. He never managed to solidify himself as one of the more prominent members of either team’s wide receiver depth chart, resulting in underwhelming results.

Prior to the start of the 2019 season, Pryor was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars but never made it past training camp. He reached an injury settlement with the team and was released. Now, he’s looking for a team ahead of the 2020 season.

With that being said, here are five teams who should consider giving Terrelle Pryor a chance.
