The upcoming AFC Divisional round clash between CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans and Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens is generating significant excitement.

This will mark the second encounter between these two teams in the current season, with the previous face-off in Week 1 resulting in a resounding 25-9 victory for the Ravens.

However, since that initial matchup, the Texans have undergone a remarkable transformation, emerging as a formidable force and entering this game with a heightened sense of self-assurance.

Quarterback CJ Stroud, in particular, has observed substantial changes within the team and is eagerly anticipating the rematch against the Ravens.

“I think we’ve grown in a multitude of areas. I think at that point, we weren’t really identified as who we are now, and we’ve grown in a lot of aspects. A lot more experience up front now, both offensively, defensively, and special teams, so I think we’ve grown in a lot of places.”

Stroud’s performance has also seen a remarkable upswing since that earlier loss to the Ravens. In the intervening period, he has amassed an impressive 4,000+ passing yards and 23 touchdown passes, boasting an impressive completion rate of nearly 64%.

Maintaining this high level of play will be imperative for the Texans if they aspire to orchestrate an upset victory.

The eagerly awaited showdown is scheduled for Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN/ABC. Football enthusiasts are in for an enthralling spectacle as these two formidable teams vie for supremacy once again.
