The 2019 season was largely a disappointment for the AFC West when looking beyond the 12-4 record and Super Bowl victory the Kansas City Chiefs managed to accomplish. The Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers all failed to achieve a winning record.
It’s no secret who is the front-runner in this division remains the Chiefs. They managed to keep many key starters and are set to run it back to defend their title during the 2020 season. As long as Patrick Mahomes is running the show, Kansas City will be in prime position.
Most of the division was clearly focused on bolstering their respective offensive attacks to be able to better keep pace. The Las Vegas Raiders used the No. 12 selection in the 2020 NFL Draft to take speedy receiver Henry Ruggs III and took multiple receivers in the third round.

As for the Los Angeles Chargers, they focused on bolstering their impact on defense and offensive line
With that being said, here is the main weakness for each team in the AFC West.
