This Packers-Browns trade would be a perfect move for both sides

The Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns are entering the 2020 NFL season as two of the most intriguing teams to keep an eye on. From the Packers’ perspective, they were one win away from the Super Bowl last season. On the other hand, the Browns completely underwhelmed and missed the playoffs.

Heading into this season, both teams have questions surrounding their rosters. For the Packers, they could use more help on the offensive side of the football. Cleveland, on the other hand, may have too many tight ends.

David Njoku has reportedly requested a trade from the Browns following their move to sign star tight end Austin Hooper this offseason in free agency. Cleveland would like to keep him, but that may not be possible. That is where the Packers could come into play.

At this point in time, the Packers are expected to start second-year tight end Jace Sternberger. They moved on from Jimmy Graham earlier this offseason. Acquiring a guy like Njoku would make too much sense to not look into.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at one trade that would make perfect sense for both the Packers and Browns involving Njoku.
