This Packers-Eagles trade would send Zach Ertz to Green Bay

The Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles are in completely opposite situations with the NFL trade deadline drawing closer. While the Packers are legitimate Super Bowl contenders at 4-1, the Eagles are struggling at 1-4-1 and could be sellers. Zach Ertz could be a name to keep a close eye on.

Ertz has been mentioned in trade rumors over the last few weeks. He has had issues with the Eagles amid contract discussions and has even mentioned that he isn’t sure that he will be with the franchise long-term.

With the Packers needing some help at the tight end position, could they approach the Eagles about a potential trade that would land them Ertz?

Through the first six weeks of the season, Ertz has caught 24 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown. He is one of the best tight ends in the game and Aaron Rodgers could use another big-time weapon. A trade could make perfect sense for both the Packers and Eagles.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at a potential trade that would send Zach Ertz from the Eagles to the Packers.
