This Packers-Eagles trade would send Zach Ertz to Green Bay

Why The Deal Makes Sense For The Packers

Quite simply, the Packers need to go all-in if they want to win another Super Bowl this season. Aaron Rodgers and company struggled against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6, but they are still one of the best teams in the NFL.

Adding a weapon like Zach Ertz would be the move they need. He may be a tight end, but he can impact the game like a superstar wide receiver.

Rodgers has always loved utilizing tight ends. He has found success with Robert Tonyan this season. Tonyan is talented, but Ertz is a much better player and would take the Green Bay offense to the next level.

Giving up a draft pick is never something the Packers love doing, but they need to consider the option. Ertz could be the piece that powers them to the top of the NFC. It’s worth the risk if Green Bay truly wants to win another title.

Brian Gutekunst has never shied away from being aggressive. That needs to be the case now more than ever. Ertz to Green Bay makes so much sense.
