Titans: 3 early goals for running back Derrick Henry in 2020

Derrick Henry has become a key contributor for the Tennessee Titans on offense, stiff-arming defenders as if they are not from the same planet as him. Just this past season, the Titans were able to advance to the AFC Championship Game, in large part due to Henry’s success on the ground.

While Tennessee fell short of a Super Bowl appearance, Henry was utterly dominant in 2019. In his fourth season in the NFL, Henry scampered for a career and league-high 1,540 yards and 16 touchdowns en route to the Titans securing a playoff spot.

Since coming into the NFL in 2016, Henry has gradually gotten better and seen his role increased. As a matter of fact, Henry has been able to improve his numbers in each statistic across the board (rushing yards, total touchdowns, and receptions).

There’s no doubt that repeating what he did in 2019 is going to be tough to repeat for Henry. With that in mind, let’s take a look at a few goals that Henry could look to achieve with the Titans in 2020.
