Top 3 Biggest Disappointments From The Philadelphia Eagles 2019 Season

Miami Dolphins Game

Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

It was a game the Philadelphia Eagles did not need to circle on their calendar. It was the Miami Dolphins who entered their contest at 3-9 and was well out of the playoff picture. However, the Eagles were still in the hunt and were fighting for position with the Dallas Coybows in the NFC East. The Eagles were in the midst of a two-game losing streak and this is the game where it was to end.

But the Dolphins had other plans. It was a high-scoring affair with a trick play involved but it was the game where fans started calling for the Eagles to fire Doug Pederson. While still in the playoff hunt barely, the Eagles had to scoreboard watch and hope the Cowboys continued to lose as well.

In the end, it all worked out but this was the low point for the Eagles’ season. Imagine not making the playoffs because of a loss to a team you were supposed to beat with one hand tied behind your back.
