Carson Wentz Playoff Injury

The Philadelphia Eagles will head into the offseason wondering ‘What if”. Image if Wentz never took that hit to the head by Jadeveon Clowney in the first-round what could have happened? Would they have made their way to the Super Bowl? Well, that’s a tough call. But for Wentz, he needed to make it past that game.

While the hit may have been dirty, what it did was further the case that Wentz is injury prone to many fans and analysts. What if he had stayed in? The game was close throughout but when Josh McCown entered, he stood little chance. Another Wentz injury for the third straight season and no real backup proved how valuable he was to the Eagles in 2019.
