Injury history

Out of all the positions on a football field, injuries seem to catch up to running backs far quicker than the rest.

Last year, Cook was able to stay relatively healthy, missing only two games. But he missed 17 out of 32 games in his first two years, including missing all but four games as a rookie due to an ACL tear. At just 24 years old, it’s not fair to label Cook as an injury prone back, but it’s certainly fair to have some concerns in you’re the Vikings.

According to Sports Injury Predictor, Cook has a 56.8% chance of injury in 2020. Obviously, that’s just a projection, but it goes to show that it’s more likely that Cook gets hurt at some point during the season than him staying completely healthy.
