He Will Throw for a Career-High Amount of Passing Yards
Coming into the 2018 season, Alex Smith’s career-high for passing yards in a single season is 4,042. That’s right, his career-high came last season with the Chiefs. That number will be passed this year.
Smith will throw for at least 4,300 yards this season and could top that number. He has a lot of talent at the wide receiver position if they can all stay healthy. Kansas City offered Smith a boatload of talent in Kareem Hunt, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce, but Washington has even more.
Richardson, Crowder, and Doctson are all extremely talented receivers, while the Redskins also have tight end Jordan Reed. When Reed is healthy, he is one of the best tight ends in the NFL. Unfortunately, his healthy stretches have been few and far between in recent years.
All of the talent that Smith has to work with will result in the most productive season of his career, which will give Redskins’ fans reason to smile and take a big sigh of relief.
