Washington Redskins: 3 Free Agents to Target in 2019

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Randall Cobb, Wide Receiver

Sticking with the Green Bay Packers trend, Randall Cobb would make perfect sense for the Redskins as a free agency target. Washington needs to bring in more firepower at the wide receiver position and there is a good chance that the Packers will move on from Cobb this coming offseason.

Throughout the five games that he has played with the Packers this season, Cobb has caught 26 passes for 258 yards and a touchdown. He has had a rough few years with Green Bay from an injury standpoint and would likely be more than open to a fresh start with the Redskins.

At 28 years old, Cobb would be an ideal fit for the Redskins on a two or three-year contract. If he can stay healthy, Cobb is the kind of impact player that could turn the Washington offense around.

Cobb is going to be a sought after free agent this offseason. If the Packers do let him go, the Redskins should certainly gauge his interest in signing with them.
