Why fans should be excited about Jets RB Le’Veon Bell in 2020

Another season in the Jets system

It’s not unheard of for a premiere player to struggle in his first season with a new team. We saw Odell Beckham Jr. struggle immensely in his first season with the Cleveland Browns, the same way we saw Bell struggle.

Head coach Adam Gase didn’t use Bell as much as he’s been accustomed to over the years, but now that Gase has a better understanding of Bell’s strengths, that should change in year two.

A strong back behind the young Sam Darnold is crucial to the quarterback’s development. If the Jets want to get the most out of Darnold, Bell should play a huge part in that.
